Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilledSenior DevOps Engineerwith extensive experience inDuck Creek technologies, strong infrastructure knowledge, and advanced networking capabilities. This role involves close collaboration with the DevOps Lead and an onsite DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support complex development, test, pre-production, and production environments. Regular onsite presence in Leeds (preferably 2–3 days per week) is required to support environment builds and ensure effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, configuration, and support of Duck Creek AVS development and test environments, including correct setup of IIS and Windows Server 2022.
  
• Configure and manage on-premises Duck Creek Pre-Production and Production environments running on x86 infrastructure.
  
• Implement and maintain required networking, firewall, and load-balancing configurations, including F5 appliances.
  
• Configure, administer, and optimize SQL Server instances supporting Duck Creek applications.
  
• Develop robust automation and orchestration frameworks using PowerShell for environment provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  
• Deliver automation initiatives end-to-end, working with DevOps engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to standardize practices and improve efficiency.
  
• Troubleshoot environment issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term stability and repeatability improvements.
  
• Produce comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, automation scripts, and operational processes.
