Job Description:

Leading high-profile innovation projects, for much-loved food brands, as the Senior Development Technologist.

Here you’ll be leading NPD projects for brands that are highly successful in their product categories.

You’ll work closely with your colleagues in Marketing and Commercial, interpreting consumer insight to create innovative new products and improve existing ranges. You’ll be hands-on in the development kitchen, supported by Innovation Chefs, and take products through trials to scale up in the factory, working with the process and operations teams.

You’ll have the autonomy to lead your projects from concept to launch, with full support from a well-resourced and talented NPD team. Your projects will cover both internal and 3rd party manufacturing sites, in the UK and occasionally internationally.

As a brand focused role, you’ll be free of the demands of retail customers in own-label development. But still have the pride of seeing your products on the supermarket shelves. This business has hugely expanded its product ranges and increased its manufacturing capability recently. You’ll be a key part of its ongoing success as it continues to grow and surpass the competition.
