As a Senior Development Technologist, you will play a key role in ensuring our wound care products continue to meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and compliance. You’ll lead design control activities for product changes, support post-launch improvements, and contribute technical expertise to regulatory submissions and commercial initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in life sciences or engineering, a passion for innovation, and a collaborative approach. You’ll work cross-functionally across R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Commercial teams to drive product excellence and patient outcomes.

What will you be doing?
  • Defining the overall strategy for product design, development, and manufacturing processes.

  • Collaborating with the NPD team and external partners to review and align on technical strategies.

  • Understanding customer needs to create product performance specifications.

  • Applying knowledge of materials and technologies to develop and assess technical solutions.

  • Creating and managing project plans to ensure timely delivery of design and manufacturing activities.

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant quality management systems throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Identifying required scientific and technological support, resources, and skills for successful project execution.

  • Forecasting and controlling project budgets related to technical work.

What you need to be successful:

You’ll be someone who thrives on solving complex problems and making a real impact in healthcare. With a solid foundation in science or engineering, you’ll bring both technical know-how and a collaborative approach to the table. You’re confident navigating regulatory frameworks and passionate about improving product performance and patient outcomes.

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant life science or engineering field, plus hands-on experience leading design control projects in a regulated environment.

  • Someone who builds positive relationships across teams, communicates with clarity, and brings people together to solve problems and deliver results.
