Job summary

Octopus Energy Generation is seeking a commercially minded senior professional to drive value across Europe’s development portfolio, from early stages to ready to build. You’ll work with developers, fund managers and board members to maximise returns and support exits, with governance and portfolio performance at the core.

This 12-month FTC offers leadership of a small commercial team, engages across five countries, and requires clear communication and strategic oversight to sustain growth in

Qualifications

• Strong commercial acumen with a track record in investments and/or development pipelines.
• Experience managing portfolios of renewable assets and delivering investment objectives.
• Pro-active, self-starting senior team member with ownership and 'can do' attitude.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of multiple development pipelines with developers.
• Coordinate day-to-day with developers and run operational reviews.
• Maximise value of each development project including exit timing and revenue contracts.
• Provide strategic oversight to portfolio companies and brief decision-makers.
• Monitor valuation and performance against objectives; identify risks.
• Collaborate with OEGEN Fund Managers to meet overarching fund goals.
