Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Consultant/Senior Engineer to join the Development Planning team in the Manchester region. You will contribute to transport planning inputs such as access appraisals, feasibility studies, transport assessments, and statements, delivering high-quality outputs while collaborating with private and public sector clients.

This role requires significant technical experience, strong communication, and the ability to guide junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Significant work experience in a relevant technical discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication of complex messages
• Ability to analyse complex data and report findings
• Progress towards Chartership or Professional Membership

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of varied-scale projects for multiple teams and clients
• Ensure complex tasks are delivered to time and budget
• Interpret and present complex technical information
• Guide less experienced colleagues on technical tasks
