Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) is seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Senior Development Officer to support the strategic development, improvement planning, and governance functions of both the Adult Support and Protection Committee and Child Protection Committee. This is a key role working at the heart of public protection in Glasgow, ensuring high-quality inter-agency working, compliance with national frameworks, and delivery of improvement activity across both adult and child protection agendas.
The successful candidate will lead on the coordination of multi-agency improvement plans, audit and self-evaluation processes, and reporting via governance structures. Thy will also contribute to strategic planning, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and ensure that practice reflects national standards and learning.
This role requires a background in public protection with excellent analytical, communication and project management skills, and a commitment to safeguarding the most vulnerable people in the city.
Applicants must possess a Degree / Diploma in either Social Work, Health, Education or an equivalent discipline. Please refer to the Person Specification for full details of the required qualifications, skills, knowledge and competencies that are required for the above role.
