Job Description:

I am currently looking for a Senior Development Manager to join a truly entrepreneurial Investor and Developer of high-quality schemes. The business is Asset agnostic and have projects ranging from Build to Rent through to Life Science and everything in between. They are looking for a Senior Development Manager to join the team who can work across the entirety of the Development lifecycle, from bringing in new schemes through the entire development lifecycle right through to completion. As a result, they would love to find someone who has worked across the entirety of the Development lifecycle on a project.

The company have exceptionally deep pockets, and work with a range of capital partners to further fund schemes. The develop large scale, and very high quality projects. This role has a focus on the early stages and will require someone who is strong in investment, development, and concept creation, but is also not afraid of getting stuck into the delivery stages and management of the scheme through to completion.

The Senior Development Managers role and responsibilities will include:

• Identification and acquisition of new opportunities
• Undertake early-stage feasibility and viability reports and create cashflow
• Select, appoint, and manage external professional teams to create project
• Work with investors and funding partners to raise funds
• Manage and deliver successful planning applications
• Tender and procure main contractor
• Manage site through delivery
• Enact business plan to either set up asset management or exit scheme.

The Senior Development Manager is likely to:

• Have circa 10 years plus experience in Real Estate Development (Client side)
• Have experience working through the entirety of the development lifecycle (ideally on one or more project)
• Be commercially astute and be able to work with investors and finders
• Want to manage their own projects and take a controlling role in the schemes
• Have excellent reporting skills
