About The Role

The Property Development function manages all aspects of property development, from sourcing deals, planning, negotiating contracts, design, engineering, financing, to construction and leasing.

The Senior Development Manager is responsible for managing development and construction risks through design briefs, budgets, programmes, consultant services, and team coordination. They will also oversee the design, procurement, and delivery of developments and complex Asset Management construction projects.

  • Asset reviews
  • Feasibility studies and commercial appraisals
  • Planning strategies and repurposing
  • Site acquisition, utilizing developer networks for stock and development constraints
  • Development and construction risk management
  • Preparation of design briefs, budgets, and programmes
  • Coordination and control of planning and design teams
  • External stakeholder management
  • Management of development design, procurement, and delivery
  • Management of major and complex Asset Management construction projects
  • Negotiation of Development Agreements, AfLs, and JVs
  • Management and ownership of CapEx budgets
  • Monitoring development funding
  • Providing strategic technical advice to FMs and DMs

About The Candidate

  • Experience as a Senior Development Manager is essential
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act
  • Experience with Argus Developer preferred
  • Extensive project management and delivery experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
