Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a senior client-side development and construction leader to oversee the late-stage delivery of solar, battery and hybrid energy projects across multiple geographies. This is a central development and construction partner role at group level, focusing on delivery outcomes rather than day-to-day site management.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years’ experience in construction or project management.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts (EPC or similar), programmes and risk management.
• Confidence engaging with contractors, site teams and senior stakeholders.
• Sufficient technical depth to challenge designs, programmes and construction methodologies.
• A pragmatic, collaborative approach with the confidence to push back when standards are at risk.

Responsibilities

• Supporting late-stage development and investment approval for solar, battery and hybrid energy projects.
• Reviewing and challenging technical designs, construction programmes, costs and contracts.
• Providing structured construction oversight across multiple live projects, tracking time, cost, quality and H&S.
• Identifying and escalating delivery risks early, and supporting pragmatic recovery plans.
• Helping establish and maintain consistent technical and construction standards across platforms and geographies.
• Acting as a senior technical resource to support less mature teams and new markets.
