SENIOR DEVELOPMENT / CALIBRATION ENGINEER

You would be working for a business which is highly invested in technology, at the forefront of engineering developments and in an environment which truly has a family feel and everyone knows your name.

We are growing our pool of talent for exciting new projects and are looking for Senior Engineers with relevant technical expertise, in depth knowledge of Engines and Powertrains, and enthusiasm. You can expect to be involved in the development, calibration and optimisation of high-end powertrain components and assemblies. You will be part of an innovative team of Engineers and work with some of the world’s top Motorsport and Automotive brands.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

You must be able to demonstrate:

1. At least 7 years post graduate experience in the field of Engine Development
2. A good degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles and IC engine systems
4. Knowledge of engine calibration and driveability with the ability to take this from testbed to road/track
5. In depth knowledge of full engine dynamometer and sub-system rig testing
6. A high level of competence in planning and executing testing activities, analysing data and reporting findings in a clear and succinct manner
7. Knowledge of combustion pressure measurements and data analysis (e.g. AVL Indicom)
