Job summary

British Land in Central London (Regent's Place, NW1)Hybrid – 4 days in office. The Development Analyst role sits in Finance and delivers performance analysis of developments, acquisitions and investment opportunities, working with investment, development, asset management and leasing teams.

You will prepare development appraisals, review quarterly valuations, produce performance updates, and contribute to Investment Committee papers.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare development appraisals for committed and prospective development (including leasing opportunities) or for potential purchases.
• Lead in the review of quarterly and half-year valuations from external valuers.
• Produce regular performance updates for internal and external reporting.
• Produce clear, insightful output for Investment Committee, Joint Venture or Board papers.
• Liaise with stakeholders to understand analytical requirements.
• Design, build and adapt Excel-based appraisal models for financial appraisals.
• Contribute to annual IRR forecasting using Anaplan forecasting models.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and financial outcomes.
