Job summary

Som3 is seeking a Senior Developer specialized in OutSystems to own medium to high‑complexity development, focusing on architecture, integrations and scalable system design. You will work with Technical Leads and cross‑functional teams to shape technical solutions and maintain high coding standards.

The role involves designing and implementing complex OutSystems applications, optimizing SQL queries and building robust integrations, while leading code reviews and contributing to infrastructure

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with OutSystems.
• Strong understanding of application and system architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, SFTP and modern integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using OutSystems, including advanced Client & Server Actions, Screens and Aggregates.
• Develop and optimise complex SQL queries and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Deliver medium to high‑complexity features and epics with minimal supervision.
• Build and manage integrations using REST APIs, SFTP and Integration Studio.
• Lead and participate in peer code reviews, providing technical guidance and mentoring to other developers.
• Contribute to application architecture, infrastructure and technical improvements.
• Deploy solutions across company infrastructure, following DevOps and change management processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis to deliver long‑term solutions.
• Work closely with Technical Leads and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join a growing development team. This is a hands‑on role for someone ready to take ownership of medium to high‑complexity development, with a strong focus on architecture, integrations and scalable system design.

About You

• Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including complex query development and optimisation.
• Understanding of infrastructure, deployments, version control, environments and change management.
• Proven ability to develop secure, scalable and high‑performing solutions.
• Experience working within Agile development environments, including estimation and iterative delivery.
• Confident leading code reviews and explaining technical and architectural decisions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
