Job summary

The Senior Developer role within Government Recruitment Service is part of the Shared Applications Service (SAS) and sits in the Home Office Digital environment. You will work in agile, multidisciplinary teams across cloud-based systems, delivering secure, reusable code and selecting appropriate technologies to meet project needs.

You will mentor and lead other engineers, support recruitment and assessment activities, and operate with greater autonomy.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior software development roles.
• Ability to mentor and lead engineers.
• Experience with cloud environments and test-driven development (TDD).
