Senior Developer – C#, Maths, 3D

Position: 3D Graphics Developer, C# Software Developer, Senior Level, Graphics-based Software Engineer

Location: Global Software House – East Midlands area

Salary: Up to 70K

Global Software client is looking for Software Developers with a Maths, Physics, 3D or Games background.

Are you:

1. Proven in C# experience in the development of Graphics, CAD or Mathematical based software?
2. Experienced in building software to create 3D models?
3. Familiar with OpenGL or DirectX, or similar? Games-related programming?

We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a growing development team. In this squad, you will be one of six engineers working on this innovative tech and will work on projects from initial concept to final delivery.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining and ensuring the responsiveness of these applications
2. Collaborating with the engineering team on new feature design and launch
3. Developing cloud-based solutions with messaging and notification APIs in a micro-service architecture
4. Solving complex mathematical and geometric problems
5. Developing 3D graphical and CAD applications

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core
2. Experience with cloud-based solutions and micro-service architecture
3. Strong mathematical and geometric problem-solving abilities
4. Knowledge of 3D graphical/CAD application development
5. Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodology

Desired Skills:

1. Knowledge of design patterns (DDD, CQRS)
2. Graphics libraries (e.g., Open Cascade, Parasolid, ACIS)
3. NoSQL database experience (AWS Dynamo preferred, MongoDB or Azure Cosmos considered)

Salary & Benefits: Up to 70K + 25 days holiday. Role is based in the East Midlands area, 2 days a week in the office – commutable from Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Sheffield and North Birmingham.
