Job summary

neurobox is hiring an experienced Senior Developer to take technical ownership, influence product design, and build secure, scalable software. You’ll turn complex customer needs into thoughtful technical solutions while maintaining maintainability, security, and long-term value.

You will contribute across the development lifecycle, collaborating with Product and other teams to shape solutions, make pragmatic architectural decisions and deliver production-ready software.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with production software
• Experience building accessible interfaces to WCAG standards
• Experience with Laravel, Filament, Livewire, MySQL, AWS (EC2, RDS, S3), Stripe
• Strong software development experience with ownership of production systems or features
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and applying solid design principles
• Experience with APIs, databases, cloud environments, version control, CI/CD
• Understanding of secure development, privacy, performance, reliability and maintainability
• Experience using AI-enabled development tools with attention to verification, confidentiality and security
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of complex software features from discovery to production
• Build clean, secure, testable, maintainable software and address technical debt
• Contribute to architecture and technical design to scale with changing needs
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to accelerate development
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into products or workflows
• Strengthen engineering quality through code reviews, testing, observability, CI/CD and secure practices
• Support production services, investigate incidents and turn learnings into improvements
• Foster an inclusive engineering culture with constructive challenge and accountability
