Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Developer for a client in the Financial Sector. The role is mostly remote with weekly meetups in Birmingham or London on a Wednesday, and you will join an Agile team of around 8 in a technology function of about 80 people.

You will design, develop, and maintain software, mentor juniors, review code, and collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on coding focus with mentoring responsibilities.
• Proficient in C#, SQL and Angular with hands-on coding.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and reviewing code.
• Interest in AI coding tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor).

This role is a largely hands on coding but there will be an element of mentoring juniors, helping to review code, working with Business Analysts and Product Managers to understand business requirements
