Reed.ai is seeking a Senior Developer to join our team in Holborn, London.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to play a pivotal role in developing and growing a new AI recruitment platform, preparing for market entry this summer. This is a unique opportunity to lead a product from Beta to full market release and beyond, shaping its future at every stage.

You will transition product development from an external agency to an in-house team, driving technical excellence, user adoption, and innovation. Build something meaningful from the ground up within a startup-style environment backed by an established business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, scalable SaaS platforms from design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Architect and implement backend services using Python and PostgreSQL.
  • Develop responsive front-end applications with TypeScript and frameworks like NextJS and NodeJS.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Promote agile practices, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
  • Integrate AI tools and APIs to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to development teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and system design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance standards are maintained.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database optimization.
  • Experience with AI development tools such as Windsurf, Aider, or Augment.
  • Track record of building and scaling SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience integrating AI tools and APIs.
  • Domain knowledge in Recruitment Technology, HRTech, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in software architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of security, data privacy, and GDPR compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of front-end performance and accessibility standards.
  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines and data workflows.
  • Experience in startup or high-growth tech environments.
