Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Dynamics 365 CRM Specialist to shape and enhance a Microsoft Power Platform based CRM across the organisation.

You will design, build and maintain CRM solutions, own CI/CD pipelines, integrate with other systems, and collaborate with business users. The role offers permanent, full-time or part-time options, with a base location split across Aberdeen, Glasgow, Perth or Inverness.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including configuration and extension via the Power Platform.
  • Experience operating CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub), with source control, automated builds and release management.
  • Experience with integrations and data management, including APIs and data quality.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical solutions for technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Collaborative, inclusive approach across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and enhance Dynamics 365 CRM solutions to support stakeholder management and scalability.
  • Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines for CRM and Power Platform for reliable deployments.
  • Work with business users to translate requirements into practical, user-focused solutions.
  • Maintain and support the CRM platform, troubleshoot issues, manage releases, ensure performance, and align with the Automation team on patterns and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems, ensuring secure data flow.

You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Aberdeen, Glasgow, Perth or Inverness

Salary

£64,085 - £76,581 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

This role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance a Dynamics 365 CRM platform that underpins stakeholder relationship management across a complex organisation. You will play a key part in improving how stakeholder information is captured, managed and used, helping teams make better, more informed decisions.

Working as part of a collaborative technology function, you will combine hands‑on development with modern engineering practices, including automated build and release pipelines, to ensure the platform is reliable, scalable and continuously improving.

You will
  • Design, build and enhance Dynamics 365 CRM solutions to support effective stakeholder management, ensuring the platform meets user needs and remains scalable
  • Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines for CRM and associated Power Platform components, enabling reliable, repeatable and low‑risk deployments
  • Work closely with business users to understand requirements, translating them into practical, user‑focused solutions and improvements
  • Maintain and support the CRM platform, including troubleshooting issues, managing releases and ensuring performance and reliability, while partnering closely with the Automation team to align design patterns, integration approaches and reuse across the wider Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems, enabling data to flow securely and accurately across the organisation
You have
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including customisation, configuration and extension using the Power Platform
  • Proven experience operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps or GitHub), including source control, automated builds and release management
  • Experience with integrations and data management, including APIs and ensuring data quality and consistency
  • Ability to understand business needs and communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non‑technical colleagues
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach, valuing different perspectives and working effectively across diverse teams
