Job summary

TrueNorth® is seeking a hands-on Senior Developer to join a central government assignment, working alongside AI engineers and security specialists. The role is UK-wide remote with occasional travel to Manchester/London and requires Active SC clearance validated before starting.

Main tasks include building secure APIs, platform integrations and workflow automation, connecting GitHub repositories and databases, and shaping secure, maintainable data flows with automated tests and logging.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development and API integration skills.
• Experience integrating GitHub or similar repository platforms.
• Relational database design, SQL and data processing experience.
• Secure coding, automated testing and maintainable software practices.
• Confidence explaining technical options and trade-offs to stakeholders.
