Role expectations and responsibilities

Role Requirements

• Commercial experience working with Kubernetes (K8S) and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Grafana, AWS, ELK logging stack, Prometheus.
• Maintaining and enhancing our existing and new backend services.
• Solid knowledge of cloud-based application and services architecture patterns, with familiarity in multiple tech stacks and programming languages.
• Fundamental system administration skills on Linux-based operating systems.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Redis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to develop solutions.
• Balance between idealistic design and pragmatic short-term goals.
• Contribute to defining and reinforcing engineering best practices.
• Explore and promote emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
• 2-4 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
