Job Title: Senior Desktop Technician

We are working with an MSP IT support company based in the Shoreham area that is looking for a forward-thinking, experienced Senior Desktop Technician to join their busy technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Providing 2nd/3rd Line Support to clients, ensuring all tickets are dealt with promptly.
• Managing and supporting Microsoft Windows Server (various editions), Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
• Utilizing anti-virus products, firewalls, routers, switches, and other network hardware.
• Offering excellent customer service, both written and verbal.
• Working effectively within a team and managing your own workload.
• Supporting team members and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a 2nd Line Support role, with a desire to advance in your career.
• Experience within an MSP company is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong technical skills as listed above.
• Organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A friendly approach and willingness to support team members.
• Valid UK Driving Licence for on-site visits.
