About the Role: Senior Designer / Project Manager

Education: Educated to a relevant degree or diploma level with 10 years’ post-grad experience. Applicable knowledge of project management methodologies.

Outline: As a Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager, you would have successfully led a team from inception to completion for a period of 10 years, demonstrating your skills in delivering exceptional design, with experience working on-site. You should provide portfolio evidence of improving project success, controlling budgets with a strategic mindset, and delivering profitability. You will show expert concept layout skills, creativity, and adherence to SMC brand ideals.

Skills:

• Ability to create and develop conceptual designs, including use of colour and texture
• Experience in using CAD software fluently in 2D and 3D
• Knowledge of Vectorworks is advantageous
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing, scheduling)
• Self-confident and receptive to feedback
• Efficient time and workflow management
• Experience dealing with contractors, architects, and engineers on-site
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to generate plans creatively with sketches and CAD
• Proven track record of 10 years in project management
• Familiar with project reporting and documentation
