Qualifications

• Expérience pertinente dans le domaine, idéalement Ingénieur Incorpéré ou Agréé.
• Capacité à développer le personnel inexpérimenté.
• Compréhension des défis liés aux routes.

Responsibilities

• Superviser des activités de conception.

Senior Designer - Planned Maintenance

Job Summary

To provide highway engineering and maintenance expertise, manage, plan, and deliver annual programmes of work, including carriageway resurfacing, footway reconstruction, structural drainage, and surface treatment schemes within the Planned Maintenance Team.

All works undertaken are maintenance and delivered on the Local Road Network, so experience working on evolved roads and understanding potential challenges is essential.

Personal Specification

• HNC/HND Civil Engineering (or equivalent) or demonstrated appropriate experience.
• Relevant experience in discipline (likely to be an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer).
• Knowledge of highway regulation and maintenance strategy.
• Ability to motivate and develop inexperienced staff.
• Fulfil the duty holder role of 'Designer' under the CDM 2015 Regulations.
