We're currently looking for a Senior Designer on a full time, 12-month fixed term contract basis. This position sits within the Content and Publications team. We are flexible on the location of this role

The Job

Reporting to the Design Manager on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

• Assisting Design Manager in the layout and publishing of content for Accounting and Business (AB) and Student Account (SA) digital magazines
• Liaising with the Editorial team on image selection/sourcing and creation of graphics
• Creation of infographics, adverts, push notifications, polls and social media assets for
• AB and SA web and app platforms
• Assisting Design Manager in the creation of pod/vodcasts for AB and SA
• Deputising for design manager where necessary.

The Person

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience of design and layout for both app and web
• Experience of UX and UI design
• Background in in creating graphics, animated infographics, video and other rich media content
• Experience working with editorial teams
• Accustomed to working to a tight deadline
• Is proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Has knowledge of WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Infogram, Adobe After
• Effects, Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro
• Has the ability to quickly get to grips with other publishing platforms, online tools etc.
