As a Senior Design Manager, you will play a key role in design management for Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in river and coastal engineering across sectors like Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. We deliver solutions throughout the project lifecycle, supporting clients and construction phases. If you're passionate about this industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Opportunities are available in our Epsom, Peterborough, Bristol, Exeter, Swansea, Birmingham, and Manchester offices.

Your Purpose:

  • Deliver high-quality technical design work adhering to standards and codes.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Manage project risks effectively.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards in design.

What you can bring:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in leading multidisciplinary design and Design & Build projects.
  • Knowledge of coastal defences, flood walls, embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with UK design standards and practices.
  • Ability to deliver traditional and environmentally focused solutions using nature-based strategies.
  • Commercial, contractual, and programme management experience.
