Job summary

PSR Solutions are seeking a Senior Design Manager for a new build commercial scheme in Rugby. This freelance role involves leading design activities on-site, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring design alignment with the project programme.

The successful candidate will conduct design meetings, manage risk assessments and audits, and oversee subcontractor compliance to deliver the scheme on schedule. Competitive daily rate dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Design Manager on construction projects.
• Freelance/contractor role preferred or acceptable.
• Ability to lead design meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants.

My client is a main contractor specialising in multi-million new build projects. They are currently seeking a freelance Senior Design Manager for a commercial scheme in Rugby.

As Design Manager on this project, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Attending and contributing to design meetings
• Liaising with clients, architects and external consultants
• Managing site audits and creating proactive risk assessments
• Ensuring sub-contractor compliance with client specifications
• Ensuring project completion in line with programme
• Value engineering/ resolving technical and design issuesRemuneration
