A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Design Manager to join a top tier main contractor on £100m new build RC and steel frame project in Herefordshire. The Senior Design Manager will be joining a driven and experienced team delivering an exciting project for a key client in the area. The opportunity promises great career prospects, an excellent work life balance, hybrid working, job security and a generous salary & package.

The Senior Design Manager will be working closely with the Project Management team to ensure the smooth delivery of the project over the next 24 months. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the development and implementation of design proposals, ensuring they are inline with the clients requirements and budgets
• Providing advice and guidance on the 'buildability' of design ideas to the project team and client
• Take a lead role on the development and management of the overall design process
• Take an active role in contributing to the risk and value management process

Senior Design Managers considering this opportunity will need excellent communication skills, experience of delivering work-winning bids for a main contractor, good knowledge of BIM and be willing to complete a vetting and security clearance process. Candidates must hold British Citizenship.

The successful Senior Design Manager will be offered a salary and package that includes:

• Starting salary of £80,000 to £90,000
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
• Discretionary bonus
