Currently partnered with a Main Contractor who is looking for their next Senior Design Manager to play a vital role on high-profile, technically complex projects across various sectors.

The role is based in the Midlands region. As a Senior Design Manager, you will be a key contributor to driving quality business outcomes, enhancing buildability, and fostering innovation.

About you:

• Background working for a Main Contractor
• Thorough understanding of technical detailing and the design process
• Experience leading high-value design projects
• Knowledge of alternative build methods and practices
• Experience reviewing current project designs and conducting comprehensive risk and opportunity assessments to mitigate risks, improve buildability, and add value before the construction phase

The role will see you as a member of the Project Leadership Team, managing the design process on projects from enquiry through to bid submission, and thereafter managing all design-related project issues until project completion and beyond.
