Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating component, assembly, and system designs, along with through-life justification, meeting requirements for life, cost, availability, and safety margins.
  • Developing full life cycle design solutions from concept through manufacture, operation, and disposal.
  • Integrating cross-disciplinary engineering concepts across manufacturing, simulation, materials, testing, and supply chain functions.
  • Documenting and verifying information against sound mechanical engineering practices and references.
  • Presenting at technical reviews before peers and expert panels.
  • Publishing safety and technical reports for customer and regulatory review.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably with exposure to process plant, mechanical components, machining, tooling, handling, lifting, special purpose machinery, pressure vessels, boilers, or assembly processes.
  • Proficiency with CAD design software.
  • Background in industries such as Civil Nuclear, Marine, Petro-Chemical, Oil & Gas, or Special Purpose Machinery Engineering.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience (Chartered/Degree/HND/HNC/Apprentice Trained).
