Job summary

Une entreprise de fabrication de motos recherche un Senior Design Engineer pour son projet Powertrain. Vous serez responsable du développement de modèles CAD et de la création d'assemblages pour des motos, tout en collaborant avec diverses équipes. Ce rôle exige une compréhension approfondie de l'ingénierie mécanique, la capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique et des compétences en conception CAD.

Qualifications

• Expérience en conception CAD dans l'industrie automobile ou motocycliste (plus de 3 ans).
• Compréhension forte des systèmes de powertrain et des principes de conception mécanique.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement collaboratif à rythme rapide.

Responsibilities

• Développer des modèles 3D CAD et des dessins techniques 2D de composants de powertrain.
• Collaborer avec des équipes inter-fonctionnelles, y compris la fabrication et les tests.
• Effectuer des examens de conception et mettre en œuvre les retours des tests de prototypes.

A well-established high-performance motorcycle manufacturer is currently looking for a Senior Design Engineer for their Powertrain project

Job Details

• 45 hours per week

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of CAD design experience in the automotive or motorcycle industry
• Proficiency with PTC Creo
• Strong understanding of powertrain systems and mechanical design principles
• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings of powertrain components (e.g., engine cases, cylinder heads, crankshafts, transmission gears, covers, intakes, and exhausts)
• Create assemblies and integrate them into complete motorcycle models, ensuring compatibility and packaging feasibility
• Support the design and development of internal combustion engines and hybrid/electric powertrains
• Perform tolerance stack-ups, material selection, and design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, testing, procurement, and vehicle integration
• Conduct design reviews and implement feedback from simulation, validation, and prototype testing
