Senior Design Engineer - Powertrain

Type:

Contract, 45 hours/week

Job Description:

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings of powertrain components (e.g., engine cases, cylinder heads, crankshafts, transmission gears, covers, intakes, exhausts)
• Create assemblies and integrate into complete motorcycle models, ensuring compatibility and packaging feasibility
• Support design and development of internal combustion engines and hybrid/electric powertrains
• Perform tolerance stack-ups, material selection, and design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, procurement, and vehicle integration teams
• Conduct design reviews and implement feedback from simulation, validation, and prototype testing

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of CAD design experience in automotive or motorcycle industry
• Proficiency with PTC Creo
• Strong understanding of powertrain systems and mechanical design principles
• Experience with GD&T
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Additional Information:

• EU work permit required
