Job summary

Sunseeker International seeks a skilled Design Engineer to join our Engineering Design team in Poole. You will design, develop and integrate machinery and systems across our luxury yacht range, delivering accurate, manufacturable engineering solutions for new and existing vessels.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, create detailed 3D CAD models (Siemens NX), production drawings and installation documents, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and company standards as we push

Qualifications

• Degree in Marine Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Strong experience with 3D CAD software, ideally Siemens NX.
• Experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in the marine industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using Siemens NX or similar CAD software.
• Design and integrate machinery and system components for luxury yachts.
• Support development of steering, thruster, stabilisation, exhaust, fire suppression, HVAC, fuel, water and waste systems.
• Create technical documentation, installation drawings, and BOM content.
• Maintain accurate engineering data and BOMs within SAP.
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners on technical development and problem‑solving.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, classification requirements and manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.
