Johnson Controls in Birmingham seeks a Senior Design Engineer to deliver medium-to-high complexity Fire Suppression System projects from design through to successful implementation. You will produce detailed system designs, drawings, calculations, and documentation using AutoCAD, BIM, and related tools, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project standards.

What You Will Do As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering medium-to-high complexity Fire Suppression System projects from post-sale through to successful implementation. You will be responsible for the design, configuration, and technical delivery of bespoke fire suppression solutions, utilising industry-leading design tools including AutoCAD and Building Information Modelling (BIM) applications. Working closely with customers, project teams, and sales colleagues, you will ensure solutions meet client requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and business objectives. In addition, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and intermediate engineers, supporting the continued development of engineering capability within the team.
