Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead design and drafting of downhole completion tools in Aberdeen. You will set engineering standards, oversee prototype testing, and ensure drawings meet API and client requirements.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Design or Engineering and 10+ years in a similar field, with AutoCAD and CADWorx experience and fluent English. The role focuses on interfacing with management, developing procedures, and ensuring design integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design or engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in a similar role.
• Experience with AutoCAD and CADWorx.
• Knowledge of API and packer design principles.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Set and enforce engineering standards and processes.
• Provide technical drafting of drawings.
• Create assembly, disassembly, and redress procedures.
• Review engineering test requests and reports.
• Develop design plans and obtain approval.
• Participate in product development processes.
• Oversee prototype design and testing of equipment.
• Interface with management for design requirements.
