Job summary

A leading recruitment company in the UK is seeking a Senior Highway Design/CAD Engineer to join their busy team on an urgent contract basis. The role requires extensive experience in highway design and proficiency with AutoCAD, delivering various design projects. This position offers a substantial contract of 6 months, potentially extending up to 18 months.

Qualifications

6 months + Rolling contract (18 months' plus worth of work expected)

Senior Highway Design Engineer. Must have high level of highway design engineering experience (concept through to implementation) as well as be fully conversant in AutoCAD and add-ons. The secondee must have experience in the design and delivery of traffic calming schemes; pedestrian crossings (including signalised); LTN1/20 compliant cycling facilities; junction improvements and public realm schemes. The position is full time (5 days a week - 36 to 40 hrs a week).

START - Within the next 4 weeks

The duration of the secondment is likely to be at least 6 months, with potential for up to 18 months' worth of work.

Other requirements:

Would need use of own car and would be expected to attend site, as required (on any day of the week) to be able to carry out design related tasks.
