Job summary

Sisk Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to provide technical leadership, design oversight and engineering support on complex construction projects. You will lead detailed design, review inputs from junior engineers and ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.

You will coordinate with site management, contractors and consultants, integrate BIM workflows, mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in BIM and digital design software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) is required.
• Professional engineering accreditation (e.g., MICE, RIBA or equivalent) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed engineering designs, specifications and technical solutions for building envelope and related systems.
• Review and validate design inputs from junior engineers, consultants and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support to project teams to resolve complex design challenges and optimise constructability.
• Produce technical reports, calculations and documentation to support design and compliance requirements.
