Job Opportunity: Senior Design Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Our client is seeking a Senior Design Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering to join their integrated team in Yorkshire. The role involves leading the design of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects within the Yorkshire Water Framework, from outline design through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning support.

The sites will be within an hour's distance from Wakefield head office, with a hybrid working arrangement available.

Personal Attributes:

• Qualified Engineer, ideally chartered or a member of a relevant institution such as ICE or CEng
• Extensive civil design experience, including drainage, within UK water sector infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of UK Water Industry standards and Sewer Sector Guidance for drainage design
• Proficiency in software such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils3D, with knowledge of BIM integration desirable
• Full UK driving license
