Overview

ROLE- Senior Design Engineer

LOCATION- Berkshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on experience

My client provides Engineering Solutions in the Construction industry. They are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team in Berkshire on a permanent basis.

Requirements
  • 2-5 years' or more of experience in a similar Design / CAD Operation position
  • Experience with factory fit out design - lighting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC layouts
  • Experienced using 2D and 3D CAD software - ideally Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong background in M&E
  • Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Design, Engineering or similar
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient using MS Office
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
  • Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team
Responsibilities
  • Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
  • Producing drawings to bespoke requirements
  • Communicating directly with clients to determine requirements
  • Being involved in final layout designs
  • Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans
  • Updating 3D models and drawings
  • Checking drawings for sign off
  • Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects
