Degree in mechanical engineering or similar is required.

Evaluate customer specifications and convert them into machine designs.
Collaborate with technical sales engineers on projects.

The Person:

Experience of designing special purpose machinery
Degree in mechanical engineering or similar and experience producing designs for manufacture.
2D and 3D experience (AutoCAD, Solidworks etc)
Understand motor and gearbox power, material and equipment throughput rates.
ATEX or PED understanding would be useful.
Designing machinery for food or chemical process would be an advantage

The Role:

Evaluate and assess customer specifications / calculations and convert into machine for manufacture.
Collaborate and interact with technical sales engineers.
Working on projects from concept to completion
