Senior Mechanical Engineer - Mission Critical Projects

Location: 2 days per week in Gatwick

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading mission-critical consultancy, supporting the design and delivery of cutting-edge data centre environments.

We are seeking experienced and detail-driven Mechanical Engineers who can take full ownership of mechanical systems—from concept through to installation and commissioning.

You’ll be instrumental in developing robust designs and specifications that meet the demands of complex, high-performance facilities.

You’ll work across a range of consultancy and engineering services, including:

• Strategic consultancy and feasibility studies
• Master-planning and traditional design
• Detailed engineering and commissioning management
• Compliance, certifications, and IST oversight

Ideal candidates will bring experience in:

• Mechanical building services design
• Experience on Data Centre projects
• Design and specification of CHW, LTHW, HW, DX, and condensate systems
• Selection and specification of AHUs, chillers, dry coolers, and DX cooling solutions
• Pressure venting, gas extract, and general ventilation system design
