Gas Turbine Design Engineer at Belcan

Due to a new project, Belcan is seeking experienced Gas Turbine Design Engineers to join our team at the Derby Offices with hybrid working arrangements.

The Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to the design of sub-systems or components within Gas Turbines for advanced engines. Responsibilities include concept design, detailed design, and supporting design release, following a gates review process with stakeholders to meet product requirements. The work may involve development, flight hardware, and rig design.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or substantial Gas Turbine Design experience
• Strong technical skills in sub-system design, component design, or rig design
• Experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with tools such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work within flexible teams and communicate technical details effectively with internal teams and clients
