The Role

Design solutions using NX CAD and simulation software for innovation projects involving products, systems, and solutions. Collaborate with suppliers on specialist equipment design to support product manufacturing.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop new products with improved performance specifications
• Lead development projects in area of expertise
• Initiate work, in agreement with staff, to meet product specifications
• Ensure compliance with Product Development protocols such as Standards and Company Quality systems
• Exchange relevant knowledge across all Technology departments and manage key interactions between design and suppliers
• Conduct or provide technical support for field tests to validate design suitability
• Stay updated with technical developments in relevant fields

The Candidate

• Designer with proven experience in developing 3D products for industrial design
• 5+ years’ experience using NX (preferred), SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software
• Understanding of design and production processes
• Degree or equivalent in relevant STEM or Product Design subjects
• Experience in project management and teamwork
• Skills/experience in simulation (e.g., CFD, FEA) working with various materials
• Good interpersonal and cultural awareness skills
• Ability to learn quickly under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills for complex issue reporting
