Job summary

Skydance is seeking a Senior Design Manager for Global Experiences to lead creative direction and manage complex themed-entertainment projects. The role requires hands-on environmental design, live entertainment, and collaboration with international teams.

You will drive concept to production, ensuring brand consistency, legal compliance, and high-quality outcomes across parks, exhibitions and retail environments. Onsite at Leavesden with global scope.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in themed entertainment or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Leads regional creative direction for themed entertainment with VP and franchise teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Oversees concept to production, directing design partners and consultants while ensuring quality, accuracy and legal compliance.
• Collaborates with EMEA and US business leads to develop innovative ideas aligned with department goals.
• Shapes creative development for parks, events, hotels, exhibitions and live shows.
• Provides art direction for environments, spaces, graphics, and live entertainment.
• Reviews and revises scripts for live entertainment and media.
• Communicates creative concepts to partners and senior management clearly.
• Reviews show packages, production drawings, graphics and media for approvals.
• Works with vendors and brand assurance teams to ensure alignment with approved concepts.
• Product Management (30%)
• Partner with product managers to deliver fresh, compelling designs that meet business needs and strategies.
• Share best practices across all areas of the business.
• Collaborate with internal teams across brand/franchise management, legal, data insights, project management and marketing to align creative work with strategies.
• Apply understanding of construction and design for built environments and components.
