• Review consultant detail designs and subcontractor designs for compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Maintain fully coordinated design packages and ensure timely handovers to Commercial and Construction teams.
• Monitor subcontractor design approvals and keep an up-to-date approvals schedule in line with the build programme.
• Coordinate information flow to Planning Authorities and Building Control for submissions and approvals.
• Attend site meetings and undertake site visits as required to support construction works.
• Compile H&S files and O&M manuals and ensure documentation is available for handovers.

## Senior Design CoordinatorApply: Social\\_Infrastructure\\_Dartford: Full time: Posted Today: JR101581**Purpose**To assist the Design Manager in coordinating the consultant team in the development of the detailed design, ensuring the design is fully coordinated and complies the United Living’s requirements and current regulations, to achieve the necessary approvals and enable a start on site in line with agreed programmes.**Specific Responsibilities*** Coordinate technical and design processes, design teams and subcontractors throughout detail design, procurement and construction, monitoring progress to ensure delivery on time and in budget* Technical design coordination of schemes, in accordance with agreed programme, ensuring company targets are met and that the maximum revenue is generated by the quality, cost effectiveness and buildability of the design.* Assisting Design Manager with reviewing of consultant’s detail design drawings and subcontractor designs* Coordinating consultants and their deliverables driving a high standard* Ensuring that designs comply with Company’s standards* Promoting design that respects budgetary constraints· Providing support to Design Manager on job running* Ensuring fully complete, correct and coordinated packages issued to Commercial and Construction teams* Maintaining and delivering in accordance with Company values* Managing subcontractor and supplier design approvals ensuring timely turnaround* Monitoring subcontractor design approvals and keep up dated approvals schedule in line with build programme* Managing the flow of information to Commercial, Operations and Client.* Updating and coordinating monthly design schedules* Reviewing and coordinating design and technical related issues with the Commercial and Operations teams.* Managing change control process for variations in relation to drawing revisions, construction programmes and costs* Monitoring and obtaining all critical certificates to ensure documentation is in place for completion and handovers* Collating all required information and liaising with Planning Authorities and Building Control to make submissions and obtaining all necessary approvals as required* Ensuring all documents are correctly available for the Document Controller* Managing the processing of information through workflows on the document management system· Ensuring current drawings are filed in order and design information exchange is as per the company protocol.* Undertaking site visits as required* Attending site meetings and monthly/weekly project meetings* Principle design and technical contact during construction works* Monitoring work executed on site to ensure that is as benchmarked and as designed/specified* Managing, investigating and responding promptly with full close out to RFIs from site team and subcontractors* Reviewing and advising on corrective measures for identified design issues* Compiling H&S files and O&M manuals· At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.· Comply with responsibilities as laid down in the group’s health, safety and environmental policy.Join us at United Infrastructure and be part of our mission to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to the complex infrastructure needs of the UK.
