Southern Housing is seeking a Senior Design & Technical Manager – Services to lead technical MEP design and risk reviews across our housing projects. You will collaborate across pre-inception through to Defects Liability, ensuring robust documentation and optimal construction methods.
The role is based in Farrington with hybrid working: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Occasional site visits may be required.

We have a great opportunity to join our Design & Technical team as a Senior Design & Technical Manager - Services.You'll lead on providing technical support and guidance to the wider department on MEP design matters, working closely with colleagues from pre-inception stage through to the end of the Defects Liability Period. The focus is to ensure that full design and technical reviews are completed, that the most appropriate construction methods and materials are specified, and that our standard documentation is robust and current, to ensure our risks are fully mitigated.
Based in our Farrington office, this role offers hybrid working arrangements of 2 days per week in the office and 3 days – work from home. Some occasional travel may be required from time to time depending on the need to visit sites.
