Job summary

Aspiring Deputy Nursery Manager role with Aspire People in Dudley/Stourbridge area. Fixed Term - 12 months (Maternity Cover). Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am-6:00pm, leading alongside the Nursery Manager to deliver outstanding care and education.

The nursery cares for children 6 weeks to 5 years, with a focus on EYFS learning, safeguarding and staff development. A supportive environment and ongoing CPD opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading or supervising an early years team.
• Confident applying the EYFS framework.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Create safe, stimulating and inclusive environments for children.
• Plan and support engaging learning experiences in line with EYFS.
• Mentor and develop team members to reach their potential.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and staff.
• Promote safeguarding, welfare and child wellbeing to the highest standards.
• Assist with compliance, policies and quality improvement across the nursery.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive working environment for staff and children.
