Job summary

STA E G is seeking a Deputy Head Pastoral to join the school leadership and oversee safeguarding across STAHS Prep and STAHS Senior. The role focuses on shaping the school’s ethos, promoting wellbeing, and ensuring effective safeguarding delivery.

The successful candidate will lead by example, foster inclusivity, and work closely with the Head and other senior leaders to support pupils’ social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. Start date April or September 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding and pastoral leadership.
• Ability to promote wellbeing and school ethos.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with staff, pupils and families.

• Lead the pastoral team to support wellbeing across STAHS Prep and Senior.
