We have an exciting opportunity for a Band B Senior Dental Officer to join our Community Dental Service.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high quality dental care and will have experience with adults and children with additional dental needs.
The Community Dental Service is a specialised service that provides dental treatment for children, adults and older people who, because of additional needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities or vulnerability, are unable to access general dental care.

Main duties of the jobWe are looking to recruit a Senior Dental Officer based at York. The post holder may be job planned to work out of HDFT York/Selby Dental Clinic locations.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Dentist to work as part of a team in the East Locality of HDFT Community Dental Services.
The post holder will be responsible for the clinical treatment of paediatric and adult patients, including those with special needs. The successful applicant should have experience in provision of dental care to children and adults, including the use of Relative analgesia (or willing to undertake training) and General Anaesthesia. They should hold a current registration with the GDC and NHS performer number.
