Senior Dental Officer - Prisons HMP Norwich Permanent, Part-time

Hours: 15 hours per week, 2 days

Base: HMP Norwich, Knox Road, Norwich NR1 4LU

Salary: £81,716 - £95,579 per annum, pro rata (actual £32,686.40 - £38,231.60)

Applications are invited from enthusiastic dentists for this position at HMP Norwich.

You will provide a full range of NHS dental care to offenders, supported by a registered, experienced Specialist Dental Nurse during all sessions.

Main duties include:

• Providing a full range of oral care and screening to patients in HMP establishments.
• Potentially working within other CDS clinics in the community.

All prison sites offer NHS dental care. You must be able to meet the travel requirements of the role. Candidates should be motivated, ethical, and possess good communication skills.

Requirements:

• GDC Registered and on the NHS Performer List.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and ability to meet Ministry of Justice clearance.
