Position: Permanent, Part-Time

Hours: 15 hours per week, 2 days

Location: HMP Norwich, Knox Road, Norwich NR1 4LU

Salary: £81,716 – £95,579 per annum, pro rata (actual £32,686.40 – £38,231.60)

The CDS Prison Team was the winner in the Dental Team of the Year category at The Dental Industry Awards 2024.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic dentists for this post based at HMP Norwich.

You will provide a full range of NHS care to offenders in HMP Norwich, supported by a registered, experienced Specialist Dental Nurse.

Main duties of the job

HMP Norwich is a Category B, C, and D prison, including remand. The post holder will provide a full range of oral care and screening to patients in HMP establishments, with potential work in other CDS clinics in the community.

All prison sites offer NHS dental care. Candidates must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post and possess good communication skills, motivation, and ethical standards.

Requirements: GDC Registration, NHS Performer List inclusion, Enhanced DBS, and Ministry of Justice clearance.
